YWI is a refuge from a busy schedule and analytical school work, where I get to experiment with creative writing. I love trying different styles of poetry and learning techniques for writing fiction, like the elusive short story. Also it’s great to see old friends and how our writing has evolved since we first started coming to YWI, as well as meet new people.
